Common faults and treatment of grate

Possible reasons for the burning of the scale grate:

1. The coal seams on the grate are uneven, the temperature is too high, and the unburned coal seams continue to burn at the Eagle Iron;

2. The wind deflector at the lower part of the grate is not discharged regularly, so that the coal dust and fine coal blocks leaked from the fire chamber continue to burn in the fine ash hopper, causing the grate frame to bend and deform, and even burning the grate chain;

3. When the fire is buried, the lower part of the grate loses cooling and burns the grate and chain.

Treatment method:

1. Transformation operation, flattening coal stacking;

2. Check and clean the dust regularly;

3. Improve the fire suppression operation technology.


Possible reasons for deviation of scale grate:

1. The front and rear axes are not parallel, and the two axes are not perpendicular to the central line of the grate;

2. The plates on both sides are not parallel, horizontal or perpendicular to the two axes;

3. The length of each chain is inconsistent;

4. The adjustment of the chain adjusting bolts on both sides of the front is inconsistent;

5. Uneven wear of front axle, rear axle and bearing bush;

6. The iron frame or eagle iron at the lower part of the coke prevention box partially bends into the furnace, which directly rubs the furnace bar and pushes the furnace aside.

Treatment method:

1. Measurement and adjustment;

2. Replace unqualified parts;

3. Find out the cause of inconsistent chain length and replace it;

4. Adjust the front adjusting nuts on both sides;

5. Repair or replace damaged bearing shells or front and rear axles;

6. Repair or replace Eagle Iron.
